E72: Charging problems

As according to the said standards following are the ways:

  1. First Charge is to be done only when battery is drained fully
  2. First Charging is to be done for nearly 4hrs continously as mobile says itself : Battery Full.
  3. Any type of wireless connectivity eg. bluetooth, wifi or infrared.
  4. Battery is highly sensitive to the FIRMWARE of the device in order to get the maximum battery one should  have latest firmware into the device.
  5. Update mobile software version only through NOKIA Care Centre.NO FOTA.
  6. Try to charge mobile when it is switched off.
lastly : if non of above help you. Charge your mobile using USB.
If the problem still persist battery has to be changed from nokia care.

    Do you think the issue with the extremely long charing period can be resolved by reinstalling the firmware of the phone? I notice that most people on the nokia forum who are experiencing that problem have the latest firmware and that it occured after they updated their phone's firmware while charging the phone. I did the same thing and I think the fact that I was charging the phone while updating the firmware could have caused the problem? Any ideas?

    yes latest firmware has lot to do with the battery consumption and the charging trend.
    In majority of cases the firmware solves the issue and if not replace the battery but first update the firmware first.
